Our Nepal Tibet Tour takes you on a journey to visit a bunch of different attractions in Nepal and the amazing sites in Lhasa. The stark difference yet subtle similarity in landscape, architecture, and culture is something you will definitely notice on this journey.
Your tour in Nepal will consist of visiting Kathmandu’s historical sites, including the Royal Durbar Palaces, centuries-old historic temples, and symbolic monasteries. These sites are historic and religious, with aesthetic and intricate architecture that will pique your interest for sure. Moving on, we will have you visit the gorgeous city of Pokhara. There you will get to see scenic nature from a couple of different viewpoints, visit a couple of beautiful temples, and go inside dark caves.
Following that, we will visit the hot and tropical Chitwan National Park. There, we will go on a jungle safari to see a bunch of different animals in their natural habitat. In general, Nepal offers a great time in nature, offering beautiful scenes of the Himalayas, hills, and jungles. While in Tibet, you will get to enjoy an arid landscape with bright blue sky, historic monasteries and temples, and scenes of the Himalayas.
Our Nepal Tibet Tour itinerary lasts for just 12 days, wherein you get to enjoy a bunch of contrasting sites from the historic land of Kathmandu to the tropical jungle of Chitwan and the bright landscape of Lhasa. However, the itinerary is not a rigid aspect, you can change a couple of destinations within it, the way you prefer. But we will have to work it out carefully before we can confirm your changes.

The Nepal Tibet Tour starts with your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The next day, we will take you around the Kathmandu valley to visit a bunch of different attractions that it offers. This is how our trip starts. Following that, we will travel to Pokhara and visit a number of scenic sites within the valley. Lastly, we will visit Chitwan National Park for an intimate jungle safari experience. This marks the end of our tour in Nepal; the next day, we will drive back to Kathmandu and prepare for our flight to Lhasa.
The best seasons for doing the Nepal Tibet Tour are spring, autumn, and summer. Spring and autumn are the superior options as they offer the best touring conditions, including mild daytime temperatures, clear skies, and low chances of rain. Summer is the 2nd best option since it gets quite hot and the chances of rain are very high.
As previously stated, we will arrange 3-star hotels for your stay in every city, which is the standard accommodation arrangement. You can also upgrade this setting to 4-star and 5-star accommodation at a price. Regardless of the arrangement, the rooms are booked on a twin-sharing basis, meaning two people will share one single room with two separate beds. A private room can also be arranged at a price.
At every stop, you will have a plethora of food options ranging from traditional Nepalese to Western. You will find many asian cuisine options in Kathmandu, while Tharu dishes are more dominant in Chitwan. In Pokhara, you will get many asian cuisines, European cuisines, and Western dishes. The same is true for drink options.
At the start of the tour, we will take you around Kathmandu in a private jeep/car. Moving on, we will drive to Pokhara, followed by a drive to Chitwan, and a drive back to Kathmandu. Next, we will fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu and fly back to Kathmandu at the end of the tour. All of these transportation expenses will be covered by our standard Nepal Tibet Tour package. We will also pick you up and drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
To prepare for this trek, make sure that you have packed all your essentials. Throughout the trek, you might need sunscreen, sunglasses, a sunhat, light moisture-wicking clothes, and more. And remember to carry some cash with you because not every establishment accepts card payments.

In recent times, power outages have been on the rise, but your daily accommodation will provide electricity 24 hours. However, you will not get the same facility outside the hotel. Internet connectivity will be stable and reliable at hotels and other establishments, but you might face unreliable and unstable connections while traveling.

The standard hotel we book for your stay throughout the tour is a 3-star hotel that offers a range of services for a comfortable stay. However, we understand that you might want to add a little bit of luxury, which is why we offer the option of upgrading your accommodation. You can choose from a plethora of 4-star and 5-star hotels that are available in each city. Note that this upgrade is going to be billed separately as it is not a part of the standard Nepal Tibet Tour package.
Driving from city to city within Nepal is not a terrible factor, but it does take a lot of time. For instance, it will take you over 8 hours to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu, which is time you could have spent visiting 6 to 7 different attractions. If you take a flight instead, you will reach Pokhara in just 25 minutes, saving you hours of driving.
Yes, Nepal and Tibet are different countries, which means different governments and laws. While Nepal offers an easy visa-on-arrival arrangement for most international tourists, Tibet is a bit restrictive. The government of Tibet does not recognize individual travel permit requests, you have to apply from a licensed and authorized travel agency to get the Tibet Travel Permit.
You can enter Tibet directly from Nepal if you have the Tibet Travel Permit. There is no law that requires visitors to go through mainland China.
