Our three-day trip starts from Kathmandu, also known as the “City of Temples.” When we are in the capital of Nepal, we’ll admire and visit several temples, monasteries, and UNESCO sites. These include Pashupati Nath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Bouddhanath Stupa. Then, on the second and third days, we’ll explore Lumbini.

On the third day, we’ll return to Kathmandu. Prior to returning, we’ll have free time, leisure and some added exploration at Lumbini.
Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupati Nath temple is one of the most visited sites of Nepal. This site is enlisted by UNESCO. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The site is also renowned for its history and cultural significance. The place is related to life of cycle and death. The majority of devotes, especially from India and Nepal visited this temple during Maha Shivratri.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is the centre of the attraction of Kathmandu. The place provides a vibrant atmosphere to the tourists, especially in the time of evening.
This place offers glimpses of Nepal past the Royal Kingdom. It is enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage sites and renowned for its historical and cultural importance.
Swayambhu Nath Temple: Swayambhu Nath is the sacred place where Nature, Culture and Spirituality come together. It is situated northwest of Kathmandu. From the year 1970’s, it is also called Monkey Temple. You’ll get panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley from the top of this place.

Maya was the princess Koliya kingdom and mother of Siddhartha aka Gautam Buddha. This site was constructed by King Ashok – an Indian ruler, king and emperor.
Ashok Pillar: Ashok Pillar is another promising site of Lumbini. It is also called the Pillar of Ashoka. It is also one of the oldest inscriptions of Nepal.
Earlier Ashoka followed Hinduism, he visited Lumbini after converting himself to Buddhism. The pillar is situated next to the Maya Devi Temple where Lord Buddha was born. It stands 6 meters long and is made of pink sandstone. The pillar was lost in 1896. Later, Nepalese and foreign archaeologists discovered it.
Kapilvastu Museum: Kapilvastu is an open museum for Buddhist and Hindu in Nepal. This museum was established 6 years ago in 2019.
